UGA Remembers

UGA rememberance event flyer for April 9 student presentation, 6pm, room 248 MLC
248 Zell Miller Learning Center

You're invited to a conversation about the history of racial violence in our community.

Students from courses in the History and Geography departments taught by Dr. Chana Kai Lee (history) and Dr. Amy Ross (Geography) are organizing a project to generate knowledge and acknowledgment concerning our campus, our community and our history of racial violence, and the need for truth and justice.  At Tuesday's gathering our students will share their experiences working on such a difficult topic and their thoughts about remembrance, reconciliation and reparative justice.

Presented by Remembrance UGA.
