Congratulations to Jim Cobb (history prof and alum) who received a 2015 Governor’s Award for the Arts and Humanities from Gov. Nathan Deal October 6th.

A native of Hart County, Cobb received his A.B., M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Georgia and currently holds the B. Phinizy Spalding Professorship in History.
