The Student Veterans Resource Center (SVRC) recently received a grant that supports UGA student veterans, national guard, reserve and active duty students who share their oral histories with our Special Collections Library.  The short histories run about one hour and include insights into

(1) why you joined the Service,

(2) why you left,

(3) your transition to college, and

(4) where you are heading.

Kate Dahlstrand, a doctoral history student veteran, facilitates this best-in-the-nation project.

To encourage your participation, the first 50 student veterans (undergraduate, graduate or profession) to complete a first-time interview will receive $250!

  *   All interviews must be on the schedule by Feb 15 and completed NLT Mar 15.

  *   Should you wish to participate click here.
