I grew up just outside Boston, MA, before attending Occidental College in sunny Los Angeles, CA. My MA brought me to scenic south-central Indiana, and my PhD work has finally brought me to Georgia. I am studying modern U.S. history, with a particular interest in public memory of the civil rights movement. Outside of my studies, I enjoy baking, bicycling, and board games.
