Lesley-Anne studies the crossroads of industrialization, landscape, and southern memory in the twentieth-century South. Her dissertation will explore the paper industry in and around Savannah, Georgia, and how it directly impacted workers and their environment. She is also interested in the histories of environmentalism and health and disease. She hopes to weave all of this together in future work. As a side project, she enjoys researching and writing about the history of southern music.
