Ari Daniel Levine has written two chapters for Volume 5, Part I of the Cambridge History of China, published in 2009. His book Divided by a Common Language: Factional Conflict in Late Northern Song China was published by University of Hawaii Press in 2008. He has published articles in Asia Major, East Asian Science, Technology, and Medicine, and the Journal of World History. He is currently completing a book project on urban space and cultural memory in the Northern Song capital of Kaifeng.
