The second book club will focus on Martha Jones's Birthright Citizens: A History of Race and Rights in Antebellum America. Not yet published, students who sign up for this seminar will receive a free copy of a manuscript draft of Jones’s work and will get an in-depth look of how history books are researched, written, and published. Moderator: Kate Dahlstrand. To sign up for one of the above book clubs, please stop by Rm. 220 the Main Office in LeConte Hall, pick up the copy of the book you want, and write your name and email on our sign-up sheet. We have 24 copies of each book and spaces for each discussion will be filled on a first serve, first come basis so be sure to grab your copy today! This is an FYO event.
