The History of Capitalism Reading Group will have its first meeting of the semester, 4:00 PM at Walker's Coffee and Pub, walking distance from UGA's North Campus. The event is open to graduate students in any department. We will be reading two articles, Niall G. MacKenzie, Jillian Gordon, and Martin J. Gannon, "A Spirit of Generosity: Philanthropy in the Scotch Whisky Industry" (2019), and Louis Galambos and Franco Amatori, "The Entrepreneurial Multiplier Effect" (2016). For help finding the readings or any other questions, please contact Shaw Bridges (robert.bridges@uga.edu) or Christian Choe (christianchoe@uga.edu).
