Campus Visit Experience

In-Person CVE Changes in response to COVID-19

The University of Georgia holds the health and safety of our guests, students and staff as the highest priority. In response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we have suspended our in-person Campus Visit Experience programming until further notice.

While we are disappointed that we were unable to host you for an on-campus visit experience at this time, we would like to offer you the opportunity to join us for a Virtual Campus Visit Experience.

Our virtual campus visit experience lasts one hour and consists of a brief presentation by Admissions followed by a virtual tour of campus led by a current student. All times listed are Eastern time.

Prospective undergraduate or graduate students should contact Laureen Kane at history@uga.edu to arrange a phone appointment for questions.

The Department of History is housed in LeConte Hall located on North Campus at the corner of Baldwin and Jackson Streets.  Visitor parking is available in the North Campus Parking Deck (parking area N06), located on Jackson Street.

Things to keep in mind when scheduling your visit

Check out the UGA academic calendar so that you know when classes are in session. You may also want to look at the UGA Master Calendar.

Information and Resources for prospective students: Many in-person recruitment events moved online this year in response to Covid-19. Check out this page on the graduate school's website, which has a number of useful Zoom webinars for prospective graduate applicants.
