Phi Alpha Theta, Epsilon Pi (History Club)

Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society logo in Greek letters

Epsilon Pi is the University of Georgia Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the National History Honor Society. We are a registered student organization at UGA, and combine our formal Phi Alpha Theta membership chapter with a departmental history club. Our group hosts meetings about various historical topics meant to provide a fun and engaging community for history students and all who love learning about the past! We(usually) meet the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM in LeConte 101, unless noted otherwise on the history events calendar.

A brief note on the group: while everyone is invited to join History Club and attend events, Phi Alpha Theta is a national honors society that you can only formally join after fulfilling certain credit hour/GPA requirements and paying one-time initiation dues. Information about how to become a member of Phi Alpha Theta will be forthcoming at the meetings, but there are no requirements for UGA students to show up for our meetings and refreshments!

Phi Alpha Theta Membership requirements: instructions for submitting application and dues will be given at the meetings.
