Join us as alum David K. Thomson (Ph.D. '16) discusses his research and new book, Bonds of War: How Civil War Financial Agents Sold the World on the Union (University of North Carolina Press, April, 2022).

Dr. Thomson is an Assistant Professor of history at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. His forthcoming book, Bonds of War, explores Union bond markets during the American Civil War.
