Steve Soper wins award for best book in Italian history

Congratulations to Steve Soper, whose has been awarded the Society for Italian Historical Studies Marraro prize for the best book in Italian history in 2013! Soper previously took First Prize in the 18th-19th C category of the American Association of Italian Studies Book Award for his book, Building a Civil Society: Associations, Public Life, and the Origins of Modern Italy (U Toronto, 2013).
