The online Global Sisters Report profiles history professor Diane Batts Morrow on their website Global SistersReport.org. Batts Morrow has been studying the Oblate Sisters of Providence, the first congregation of black Catholic sisters in the United States, since she was doctoral student in the late 1990s. At the Conference of the History of Women Religious, Batts Morrow discussed her current work and the significance of black history to the Catholic Church.
