UGA alum Keri Leigh Merritt has a new article on the Moyers & Company web site looking at the relationship of economics and power and its roles in politics and political support. Merritt is know for her recent opinion letter to the New York Times about the validity of historians chiming in on the national news conversation "Let the Pundits Speak", and is the author of the book Masterless Men: A New Book on Poor Whites and Slavery (Cambridge 2017).
