The new minor in the History of Science, Medicine, and Engineering gives undergraduates a solid foundation in the history of the “STEM” disciplines. The minor will strengthen the credentials of successful graduates in a competitive job mark by complementing specialized technical skills with training in the humanities.

Though this minor is suitable for students majoring in these fields, it is also open to any student interested in learning how technical, scientific, and medical knowledge has shaped the world we live in today.

For more information, check out the minor requirements on the UGA bulletin at https://bulletin.uga.edu/MinorDisplay/114.
