UGA's team at the International Model African Union

Recently, a delegation of seven students and one faculty advisor represented the University of Georgia and the nation of Burkina Faso at the 2022 International Model African Union (IMAU) simulation held virtually this year from Friday, February 25 - Sunday, February 27, 2022. (https://modelafricanunion.org/.

We are pleased to report that Quinn O'Leary Phillips (UGA History, Athens, GA), a member of the UGA delegation in the Peace and Security Council, was voted for two awards by delegations from other participating universities. He was voted for the Committee Leadership Award and the Michelle Tooley Outstanding Delegation Award Quinn did an outstanding job representing Burkina Faso, and the University of Georgia in the IMAU Peace and Security Council. Congratulations to Quinn and the rest of the team!
