I am an MA student with an interest in queer and transgender history in the 20th century. Currently, I'm at work on a project about the origins of gay pride, highlighting the lesser known life story of Thom Higgins ( the gay activist who famously threw a pie at anti-gay figure Anita Bryant in the 1970s).
