Graduate Student Born in Costa Rica, I attended the University of Pennsylvania for myundergraduate degree in European history. Subsequently, I enlisted inthe Marine Corps and served four years in the infantry before beinghonorably discharged as a sergeant. I obtained an MAT at EmoryUniversity in 2009 and taught social studies at a Dekalb County publicschool. Currently, I am beginning my work on US/Latin Americanrelationships with an emphasis on Costa Rica in the 20th century.
