Congratulations to James C. Thompson, a recipient of a Fulbright U.S. Student Program award to Germany in journalism.

M. Todd Bennett, a graduate of UGA's Ph.D. program in history (2001), has been named as one of just 28 NEH Public Scholars for 2017-2018.

Congratulations to Isabel Mann, who is completing her summer internship with the Athens Land Trust.  Isabel is a triple major honors student at UGA expected to graduate in 2018.

The history department’s Public History in Washington D.C. summer internship program is in its second year of providing public history courses and course credit for our students holding prestigious and highly competitive internship position at historic and cultural institutions in Washington.
