We are excited to offer a wide range of events in celebration of Black History Month this February. Some of our regular event series are offering themed talks as part of our Black History Month Calendar of Events.

Doctoral student Jared Asser interviewed James Cobb about his new book on the eminent historian C. Vann Woodward.

Katie Beard, a history and international affairs double major, was recently featured in a wonderful article about the UGA at Oxford Study Away Program in Oxford, U.K.  https://stories.uga.edu/uga-oxford-study-abroad.

The Heritage Apple Orchard is home to 140 heirloom varieties, grown from wood cuttings snipped from trees found in niche orchards, rural backyards, and other sources across the Southeast.
