Macleod Book Prize in Latin American History Cassia Roth, Assistant Professor of History & Latin American and Caribbean Studies at the University of Georgia, recently won the Murdo J. Georgia Open History Library Launch: The Power of Digital Libraries and the Contest over Historical Narrative Digital libraries of primary sources enrich the understanding of the sheer diversity of the American experience. In anticipation of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, historian Catherine Kerrison will address the broad historical and intellectual significance of curated open digital resources, which allow both scholars and an informed public to challenge the narratives of those who would erase the complexity of our early national history.
