Each year, the UGA Alumni Association recognizes 40 of the university's most outstanding graduates under the age of 40. Nearly 500 young professionals were nominated for this distinction this year. These individuals have achieved a high level of achievement  in their careers while maintaining a strong relationship with UGA. History professor John Morrow Jr. served as co-chair of the national advisory committee that drew up plans for a new exhibit at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans.  Morrow was quoted in a recent New York Times article discussing the new exhibit titled "Fighting for the Right to Fight: The African American Experience in WWII."
