James Owen wins Innovative and Interdisciplinary Research Grant

Congratulations to doctoral student James Owen, who has been selected to receive a 2014 Innovative and Interdisciplinary Research Grant. The Graduate School established this program as part of its strategic initiative to support innovation and interdisciplinary in the research being conducted by doctoral students.

Stephen Mihm awarded Williamson Prize

Stephen Mihm was presented with the Harold F. Williamson Prize of the Business History Conference at the organization's annual meeting, held in Frankfurt, Germany. The prize honors a mid-career scholar for contributions to the teaching and writing of business history.

Briscoe wins study grant

First year Master's student Laura Briscoe has been awarded the Lynn E. May Study Grant by the Southern Baptist Historical Library & Archives in Nashville, TN to assist with her project on evangelical women in the 1970s and 1980s.
