Constitution Day

On Friday, September 16, 2022, the American Founding Group and the School of Public and International Affairs will host a celebration of Constitution Day. The centerpiece of these festivities is a lecture entitled “Reflections of a Would-be Framer” by Sanford V. Levinson, Professor of Government and W. St. John Garwood and W. St. John Garwood, Jr. Centennial Chair in Law at the University of Texas Law School.

Dirty History Workshop: Hiromi Mizuno

Faculty and graduate students from any department are invited to join us to discuss the paper "Fertilizing the Green De/Revolution: Japan, the US, and Cold War Asia," with its author, Hiromi Mizuno, Associate Professor, University of Minnesota.

Dirty History Book Talk:The Long Land War: The Global Struggle for Occupancy Rights, Jo Guldi

Join us March 17. Jo Guldi, Associate Professor, Southern Methodist University, will be giving a talk about her new book, The Long Land War: The Global Struggle for Occupancy Rights (Yale University Press, 2022).

This free and public event is presented by the Dirty History Workshop and the Willson Center for Humanities and Arts as part of the UGA Humanities Festival.
