University of Georgia Associate Provost & University Librarian Toby Graham has announced the appointment of Dr. Ashton Ellett as the director of the Richard B. Russell Library for Political Research and Studies.

Join us for the inaugural presentation of the Dr. John H. Morrow and Dr. Diane B. Morrow Lectureship Series: Matthew Delmont (Dartmouth College) will present a lecture on his recent book and research entitled, "Half American: The Heroic Story of African Americans Fighting World War II at Home and Abroad."

Kudos to PhD Candidate Terrell Orr! Terrell recently defended his doctoral dissertation, “The Roots of a Global Grove: Labor, Markets, and Nature in the Citrus Industries of Florida and São Paulo.” 
Orr has been the recipient of numerous grants and awards during his time at UGA, including a Graduate School Research Fellowship, Janelle Padgett Knight Graduate Research Award, from the Willson Center, Dissertation Research Abroad, Fulbright-Hays, International Dissertation Research Fellowship, SSR, and others.
