The Center for Virtual History, the UGA Digital Humanities Lab, CSI Dixie, Born Unfree, Indian Nation, History on the Move, People not Property, and the Georgia Virtual History Project are among the projects recently initiated by members of the UGA History Department in its quest to demonstrate new possibilities in collaborative pedagogy, research, and public outreach. New graduate and undergraduate courses are incorporating digital humanities techniques such as spatial history as our department emerges as a national leader in this cutting-edge field.
